Dezeen Debate options "elegant and timeless" concrete bridge in Switzerland

Structure studio Christ & Gantenbein has constructed a sculptural concrete bridge atop the Aare River in Aarau, which options 5 arches of various widths.

The design of the 119-metre-long construction was impressed by the city’s stone buildings and medieval homes.

Commenters have been stuffed with reward, with one describing the construction as “elegant, stable and timeless” and one other praising the bridge’s “scrumptious crisp edges”.
