Chopper chair by Massimo Buster Minale for Buster + Punch

Dezeen Showroom: architect and industrial designer Massimo Buster Minale has redesigned his homeware model Buster + Punch’s Chopper chair with futuristic black metal framing and leather-based cushioning.

Minale tailored the chair’s unique rattan design in celebration of the model’s ten yr anniversary, creating a brand new iteration with low slung proportions and a bent tubular body constituted of metal.

As an alternative of woven rattan, sheets of thick full-grain leather-based are used to make the chair’s backrest and seat, which is secured with belt-like straps beneath. The patina of the leather-based is designed to age with use over time and will be changed if desired.
